SJCET Research

St. Joseph University in Tanzania (SJUIT) is introducing new postgraduate programmes at the St. Joseph College of Engineering and Technology (SJCET). These programmes have been carefully selected based on a comprehensive market survey and situational analysis, and through consultations with key stakeholders including the government, professional bodies, employers, and the wider community.

The initiative responds to the current shortage of skilled professionals in critical sectors across the country. Furthermore, the programmes are aligned with the University’s strategic research theme: Green Technology—a field focused on developing and applying technologies that reduce environmental harm caused by human activity.

Green technology integrates scientific knowledge and innovation to conserve natural resources, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and promote the use of renewable energy. Through these postgraduate offerings, SJUIT aims to equip graduates with the expertise needed to drive sustainable development and support Tanzania’s transition to a greener economy.
